Mission Statement:

Return To Adventure’s mission is to assist in the recovery and rehabilitation of wounded military explosive ordnance disposal and civilian law enforcement bomb squad technicians through instruction and participation in outdoor activities and adventure sports that challenge them physically, mentally and emotionally; and to provide an environment in which to establish meaningful peer relationships.

Lexi
Leo Bradley
Leo is a 27 year veteran of the U.S. Army who has commanded Explosive Ordnance Disposal units from company through group level. He’s a former commander of Combined Joint Task Force Paladin, the Afghanistan Counter-Improvised Explosive Devices Task force, where he witnessed the day-to-day heroism of our EOD operators, as well as the devastating wounds they received in action. He is determined to provide opportunities for them to return to the life of adventure they had pre-injury through outdoor and adventure sports.

Alexandra Petze, MALS, MCHES, ATC
Alexandra is the co-founder of Return To Adventure with Leo Bradley. An avid skier and lover of the outdoors who believes in the healing power of physically challenging activities. She was brought up in a military family, lived all over the world and learned how new experiences help you grow. As a certified athletic trainer and masters certified health education specialist she’s able to combine her love of sports and the outdoors with helping others return to active lifestyles.

Dean Meinert
LTC Dean Meinert has been an Army EOD Officer for the last 21 years. He became involved in this initiative after returning from Iraq as Commander of the JTF Troy-North and the 242d EOD BN at Fort Carson, Colorado in late 2011. He is currently serving as the EOD Branch Chief at 3d Army / USARCENT.

Sean Dennis
IABTI (International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators) Representative. Sean Dennis has been with the Return to Adventure since the beginning. He is a prior Civilian/Law Enforcement Bomb Squad Commander and is the Representative for the IABTI. He is currently with the Department of Homeland Security as an Explosives Specialist. The IABTI has been a primary partner with Return to Adventure and continues to support their endeavors and training events.
